PAYMENT OF LOCAL UNION DUES
Members are responsible to pay their Local Union Dues quarterly in advance on or before the 1st day of the quarter, and to carry on their person to all job sites, proof that their dues have been paid.
Stewards are responsible to check all work cards or dues books to ensure that all Members are paid up to date.
The Metropolitan Regional Council’s Work Rule #7 states, “The Steward of the job shall not permit anyone to start work on a permit or card that is two weeks or more overdue”.
Please be advised that Work Rule #7 will be strictly enforced.
